Assistant Superintendent

The Assistant Superintendent works with the Production Manager and Superintendents to ensure home renovations are on track. This includes verifying subs are working on the site as scheduled, materials are delivered on time, inspect the renovation work and ensure the home is secured. The goals of an Assistant Superintendent are to work with the Superintendent to rehab homes MEGG purchases within the budget required to meet overall company goals and on schedule with our cycle time.
Responsibilities:
• Study and learn how to execute all MEGG processes, policies, and procedures
• Work with superintendents learning how to manage trade partners, hold them accountable to their scopes of work and trade partner agreements
• Communicate with trade partners, daily, ensuring all expectations are clearly defined and met
• Working every day to ensure jobsite orderliness and cleanliness, including picking up trash and enforcing appropriate partner behavior on the jobsite
• Assist with ordering materials needed to complete the rehab
• Assist with applying for permits as needed to complete the rehab
• Work with city/county inspectors as needed
• Help punch out houses and do what is necessary to hit closing goals while meeting or exceeding MEGG’s quality standards
• Understand budgets that align with the scope of work needed to rehab the house
• Complete any repairs needed during the listing and contract period

• Good attitude and trustworthy
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of self-motivation and able to work effectively in an unsupervised environment
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong organizational skills

Hours of Work
Minimum 45 hours a week, typically Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Some nights and weekends depending on work demands

Real Estate Buyer

The Real Estate Buyer is responsible for purchasing homes. This includes evaluating if homes meet our criteria to purchase, presenting them to the team, and coordinating the purchase from offer to close with all parties involved.
Responsibilities:
• Research and understand the value of the real estate market in our operating areas.
• Managing a marketing campaign for targeting homeowners looking to sell their homes
• Working directly with homeowners to determine if their home meets our criteria to buy
• Working with wholesalers and other outside agents for potential leads
• Coordinate signatures for documents throughout the purchase (contract, addendums, closing docs, etc.)
• Review and approve closing documents to be signed
• Schedule property visits for budget walk throughs for potential purchases
• Responsible for tracking and presenting performance goals
Qualifications:
• High School diploma
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in full suite of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of self-motivation and able to work effectively in an unsupervised environment
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong organizational skills
